What to know

Gora Park (強羅公園, Gōra Kōen) is a Western-style landscape park situated on the steep slope above Gora Station. It offers a relaxing escape to enjoy the scenery and panoramic views of Hakone.

Primarily a French-style landscape park, Gora Park features a large fountain and a rose garden. It also houses two greenhouses: one with a tropical botanical garden and the other with a flower garden. Visitors can dine at a restaurant overlooking the main fountain or enjoy tea at the Hakuun-do Chaen teahouse.

At the Crafthouse, guests can try craft activities like glass blowing, glass etching, pottery, and dried flower arrangement. Prices range from 1,000 to 5,000 yen, and sessions take 30 minutes to an hour.

Gora Park is a five-minute walk from Gora Station, the terminal of the Hakone Tozan Railway. The journey from Hakone-Yumoto to Gora Station takes about 35 minutes, costs 460 yen, and trains run every 15–20 minutes.
