Visitor guide for Shima Spain Mura (Spain Village, Parque Espana), a theme park about Spain.

What to know

Shima Spain Mura (also known as Spain Village or Parque Espana) is a Spanish-themed amusement park in Mie Prefecture, designed in a style reminiscent of Disneyland. The park features several roller coasters, an adventure lagoon ride, a mystery house, and many other attractions. Visitors can also enjoy flamenco dance performances, shopping, and dining throughout the grounds.

Adjacent to the park is Himawari-no-yu, a hot spring bath facility. While the park gets busy on weekends and holidays, it is generally much quieter on weekdays during off-peak seasons.

The easiest way to reach Spain Mura is via Ugata Station on the Kintetsu Shima Line, from which shuttle buses run to the park (15 minutes, 500 yen one way).

From Iseshi Station, the trip to Ugata Station takes 40 minutes by limited express (1340 yen) or 60 minutes by local train (820 yen). From Toba, it takes 25 minutes by limited express (1040 yen) or 35 minutes by local train (520 yen). Direct limited express trains from Nagoya, Osaka, and Kyoto also stop at Ugata Station.
