What to know
CEATEC 2026 is scheduled for October 13-16.
The Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies, commonly called CEATEC, is Japan's largest annual IT and electronics trade show. Held each October at the Makuhari Messe convention center just outside central Tokyo, the event attracts virtually every major Japanese electronics manufacturer. It serves as a platform to showcase cutting-edge achievements in information and electronic technologies.
CEATEC is open to the public on all days except the first, which requires special invitations or industry/press registration. Visitors can explore and try innovative new technologies and the latest unreleased gadgets from Japanese and international electronics makers. The exhibition space is divided into zones covering business, industry, and home themes.
CEATEC takes place at Makuhari Messe, a 5-10 minute walk from JR Kaihin-Makuhari Station. From Tokyo Station, take the JR Keiyo Line: rapid trains take 30 minutes, local trains 40 minutes (620 yen). Limited express trains cover the distance in 25 minutes for 1380-1640 yen.
Note that the JR Keiyo Line platform at Tokyo Station is a ten-minute walk from the station's other platforms.
