What to know
teamLab Biovortex Kyoto is a digital art museum that opened in October 2025, located about a ten-minute walk southwest of Kyoto Station. The museum showcases over 50 artworks designed to immerse visitors in a world that transcends physical boundaries.
Spread across four floors and covering more than 10,000 square meters, the museum features mostly dark exhibition spaces illuminated by dynamic lights and interactive digital installations. It's easy to spend several hours exploring the maze-like venue. While some artworks are also displayed at other teamLab museums, several pieces debuted here in Kyoto.
teamLab Biovortex Kyoto is a ten-minute walk west from the Hachijo Exit (South Exit) of Kyoto Station.
