Shiroi Koibito Park

Visitor guide for the Shiroi Koibito Park, where you can visit a chocolate factory.

What to know

Shiroi Koibito Park (白い恋人パーク) is a theme park run by Ishiya, a local chocolate company. Their flagship product, the Shiroi Koibito cookie—two thin butter cookies sandwiching a layer of white chocolate—is one of Hokkaido's most iconic souvenirs.

The park has a free area with a shop, cafe, and restaurant, plus a paid area featuring chocolate exhibits and, most notably, large windows overlooking the cookie production line. Visitors can also join hands-on workshops to make their own cookies. Another part of the park is a soccer field used as a practice ground by Consadole Sapporo, the city's professional soccer team.

Take the Tozai Subway Line to its western terminus, Miyanosawa Station (15 minutes, 290 yen from Odori Station), then walk ten minutes to the park.
