Auga Market (アウガ新鮮市場, Auga Shinsen Ichiba) is a lively fish market in the basement of the Auga Festival City shopping center in central Aomori City. Tightly packed stalls sell all kinds of seafood, vegetables, and prepared foods.
Local seafood is brought in fresh from Aomori Port. You can find everything from seaweed and tuna to live octopus and Aomori's famous scallops. Several restaurants serve seafood from the market.
The Auga Fish Market is in the basement of the Auga Festival City shopping center, one block from JR Aomori Station.
